Garmin Nuvi 205 models improve their predecessors, the 200 series by adding top-of-the-line, such as FM traffic updates or MSN Direct content capability to an entry-level line. Important Product Information: This device has a lock "screen" feature. This is a standard feature on all the Nuvi 205 and 705 units from Garmin. If you drag the button "POWER", right, will lock the screen and avoiding accidental touches. Once the screen lock function is engaged, the screen goes black / gray after about 15 seconds to save power on the device. To unlock the screen, simply drag the "Power" keys in a central position. This is very targeted for "pedestrian" mode so that a user can place the device in your pocket / bag and quickly unlock the screen, instead of switching on / off times.
